Rugged Outfitting Gear for
Toyota 4Runners and Tacomas
Currently offering 5th Gen 4Runner Roof Racks. 3rd Gen Tacoma Roof Racks will be coming soon.
All CORPS 1804 racks and attachments, such as the Toyota 4Runner roof rack, are developed entirely new from the ground up. Each rack design is centered on making your experience easier, more enjoyable, and more satisfying. This is accomplished by features such as simple one-person roof rack installation, easy access to mounting hardware for Toyota 4Runners & Tacoma rooftop tents, and our own unique universal camp light mounts so you can pick which lights you want and not be limited to just one brand. Like the 4Runner rack roof rack attachments, our rack attachments take functionality to the next level by preconfiguring mounting locations for some of the most popular outdoor gears. This makes it simple to mount gear and maximizes utilization of the multi-purpose Toyota 4 Runner roof racks. While elevating your experience with our gear, we still make it DIY-friendly for your solutions by having multiple mounting slots and holes designed to use standard nuts and bolts from your local hardware store. While we are starting with roof rack innovations, please keep your eyes on this space because we will be coming out with more new innovative products meant to raise the bar much higher or have never been offered.
ABOUT Corps 1804
CORPS 1804 is a small company started in Lakewood, Colorado, in 2022 with a fierce passion to level up your Toyota’s off-road outfitting gear. We design and manufacture here in Colorado’s Front Range, operating out of a tiny shed in the backyard, but we test our products all over the Rocky Mountains, as far East as Moab and the Swell, much time in the San Juans and places beyond.
We are different because we think differently. With over 25 years of experience designing products for companies such as GT Bicycles, DeWalt, Ford Motor Company, Husqvarna, Magpul, FN America and many more. We combine our knowledge of good product design principles, manufacturing methods, and experience in making intriguing products with our passion for off-road travel to create our designs. Our products start development from the viewpoint of the user, which makes them different in appearance, usability, and value from products from other companies. We are not here to produce another Me Too product but to raise the bar for the industry.
When the company was started, creating a company name that embodied the spirit of adventure and exploration we all have when doing a big trip to new places was no small task. We knew that it had to be different, like the products we would develop, we knew it had to stand out and we felt it should be uniquely American. Our minds turned to historic American adventures, and it is hard not to think of Lewis and Clark’s expedition when you do that. After a quick history refresher, we learned that the official name of the expedition was the “Corps of Discovery.” We also learned it departed in 1804. So, we played around with the words and names until we settled on CORPS 1804. The development of the logo followed. It took a while, but the insignia was chosen, the stripes are slightly adjusted to represent mountains, forests, prairies, rivers, and oceans. All experienced by the Corps of Discovery. A quadrant used for surveying was added to the logo since it was one of the tools they took along to chart their journey.
